All Comments for Vietnam Demands Inquiry into 'Racist' Killing in Cambodia

Khmer people are the most racist in the world. You kill a man just because he is a 'youn' and then try to say that it is not racism. What kind of Buddhist country are you? Aren't you supposed to treat people as the Lord Buddha would? As long as Khmer people are racist, the world will not respect Cambodia. A civilised nation must learn to get on with its minorities and neighbours. Racism will lead to a shaky economic and political foundation giving rise to far left or right parties who may be the next Khmer Rouge. I must warn of your terrible past, there has been no other country on this planet like your Cambodia, succeeding to kill your 25% of your own population. Do not let this occur again!

And certainly enough, if any Vietnamese individual were to die somewhere else, you hear nothing of such demands from the Vietnamese government; its funny how they try and try again to overtake their neighbors land, some people may look at them as being smart, pretty much swallowing all of present day Laos and now moving on into our Cambodian land; yet, little do they know what goes up must goes down and soon enough Vietnam will fall like the piece of selfish and inhumane person she is.

I totally agree that the foolish Vietnam government is behind this because all they do is manipulate in attempts to overtake. It is amazing that one death of a sole Vietnamese brings forth all these demands versus the multiple abused Cambodians who are currently living in Vietnam (aka the native lands of the current Cambodian residents). For all we know there has to be multiple deaths and abuse of native Cambodians who are ripped of their lands. Where is the ignorant Hun Sen in this matter?

Million of Cambodian had been living under Yuon suppression in Cambodia low land. The Yuon government had a discrimination against them. Million Cambodians had suffering tortures, suppressions and prohibition them from entering Cambodia mainland. And now Yuon colonized Cambodia. Thug deserves to die. R Kwaak Hun Sen needs to balance-Stop illegal flowing into Cambodia-Did R Kwaark never care about suffering of Khmer Krom living in Kampuchea Krom-Did Lok Parachick Tep Vong ever preach Metta to Borei Keila, Beung Kok, and garment factory suffering. The only last step that R kwaar Hun Sen do is to stepdown and push the illigal yuons back to Hanoi-before another tragedy happens again in the near future.

This is sad. I don't believe the word "youn" is more derogatory than "khmer or siam". One man in custody, but he is not the only one killed this person. This sounded like mob attacked. I also blame this on government's policy that fuels tension between Khmer and Youn, for allowing land and forest concession to foreigners, like Vietnamese. Vietnam is now the biggest foreign investor in Cambodia. Last year Vietnam invested $3 billion in Cambodia. Vietnamese tourists last year top 800,000, more than any other countries. This is making Khmer nervous because of the history between the two countries.

It was nothing more than road rage by a DRUNK punk: he scuffled somebody's car and probably cursed them in vietnamese instead of excusing himself of his wrongdoing. It is unfortunate that this resulted in his death. Since 1979, Hun Sen's gvt has given extreme privileges for Vietnamese nationals. Hun Sen even gave the Viets Cambodian nationality ID cards so they can vote for him (documented by the 2013 irregularities that Hun Sen refused to investigate). As a consequence of Hun Sen's directives all Vietnamese disrespect the Cambodians in Cambodia. Who are the real racists Vietnamese or Cambodians?

OF COURSE, the WESTERN MEDIA did not scratch beyond painting a stupid incident as RACIST. PLEASE ask HANOI if they are treating South Vietnamese the same as the North Vietnamese.
