Why are the scouts openly supporting a political party? I thought they were supposed to be a non-political organisation.

Reply to this commentas I have been saying that PM hun sen controls all military units so there could be a bloodshed if PM loses the election that means hun sen does not want to lose his job to any body so the election must be fair in peaceful resolution.

Reply to this commentDoes the Cambodian opposition party have a death wish? Why do they want Pho Quoc Island, and by what means would they try to acquire it?

Reply to this commentHun Sen is right!
If He loses the election, there will be war in Cambodia But he did not say who would start it....it would be HIM!
There is peace now because he is in power, the oppositions would not take arms and start a war but if Hun Sen loses the election, he would do it.
This man would do any thing to stay in power. He's not lost yet but he has already threatened monks and the farmers.
The war in 1970s because of Hun Sen, Chea Sim and Heng Samrin's gang wanted tom take power, the blood shed in 1997's because Hun sen's gang wanted to take control.
As long as they don't get the power, they would not let Cambodia live in peace and he has the nerve to say that Cambodia has peace because of him.

Reply to this commentI agree Mr. Hun Sen is correct. He has worked very hard to have a country run on a system of money and patronage based on one person, Mr. Hun Sen. He has done this by giving 'rewards' to other powerful people. These people will lose access to these 'rewards' if he loses power. If Mr. Hun Sen loses power, the powerful people will fight to keep their 'access' to these 'rewards'. They will not want to see anyone else come to take their place. The powerful people are also the people who have the guns (i.e. the army and the police) and other people will follow them because they have 'access' to the rewards and the guns.

The history of the Khmer Rouge and the death of two millions people in Cambodia is a very difficult matter. Who on earth, except the Khmer Rouge, would say: "It's OK for two millions people to die?"

Reply to this commentMr. Hun Sen you are the one who is making the war with your Cambodians. Cambodians will be exterminated by Vietnamese race if you are still in the power.

Great month for Cambodia! There is a huge hope of change, and Hun Sen regime is coming closer to an end. This is the twenty-first century Mr. PM, maybe in the 19th century you can control khmer through intimidation and fear. But be warn, more power men than you have fallen within the last 5 years. And you are the next one to fall!
And to the person who said, asking for a death wish for trying to regain the Island: grow some ***! You have other people who are willing to attach bombs to themselves to die for their country, but you already assume a loss before a battle.
