This is the end of multi-party democracy in Cambodia, a country that deserves better leadership than that provided by Hun Sen and the CPP. Hun Sen has flown under the western radar for far too long. It is time to take a stand for democracy, and to punish the ruling elite for the years of corruption and nepotism. Freeze or seize all their overseas assets, ban them and their over-indulged brats from travelling to western countries, and stop recognizing the CPP dictatorship as a legitimate government. Sadly, moving businesses such as garment manufacture to other countries would only hurt Cambodia's people,so it is not an option, but military training programs and election aid have to stop immediately. ASEAN also needs to stand up and be counted - this is its problem too and a stain on the whole organization. Hun Sen has destroyed the CNRP, but the desire for change remains, especially among the young. This isn't over. The CPP is terrified of a colour revolution, yet they have set in place the perfect conditions for just such an event.

Alas Cambodia, in my view this apathetic
little country have been in a disaster mode
since 1970. The war that was riven the country, Khmer rouge and Khmer republic
fought the bloodiest war on Cambodia's soil. What was the reason for that war?
I come back later .

Reply to this commentAmerican love Cambodia to be the same as Vietnam communist state, so all American's companies garment in Cambodia will be secured and Cambodian cheap labors dare to protest.
Capitalism like communism and Dictatorship. That is why Donald Trump keeps quiet and let Mr. Hun Sen in place.

Reply to this commentPeople know the world know Hun Sen is breaking the Paris Peace Agreement in 1991. Why did the world not do anything to Hun Sen regime yet? What is the point of signing the agreement? Do signatures of all the signers mean anything? it is simple. if the countries who signed the agreement not even bind to the agreement do they expect Hun Sen bind to the agreement. if they don't enforce it how they expect Hun Sen to follow. only put speed limit sign, don't give people over speed ticket then see how fast they drive.
