It's a lie. There were no several thousands arrests. I live in the states. I live in a state where not one single demonstration occurred. I've seen other places like California and New York. In California, there were high school students walked out of class in a peaceful march. There were a couple of incidences in Seattle where cars were smashed and burned. I totally against violence demonstration. You have the right to protest but it's against the law to destroy property.

Now, even if it were true, several thousands arrested in these demonstrations, compare the populations 350 million U.S vs Cambodia 14 million. That is SMALL.

Still, American people can demonstrate without fear because they know their rights. Cambodia is different, people are worried what the police thugs will do to them. Remember, we live in an internet age. Most people have smartphone and they will use it. So you can not hide the truth from all angles, it's impossible.
