Not only China ill-treats those who fled the communist regimes such as Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia. Lao, Cambodian and Vietnamese police do the same. Never visit these countries for your own sake.

Reply to this commentSam Rainsy was making inroads against Hun Sen when he was nationalistic. His base was rapidly growing. It's too bad he abandon that approach because he received some criticism. Perhaps he should understand there are over 14 million Khmer Krom in Vietnam that wants autonomy. Numbers in Sam Rainsy favor. He needs to return to be nationalistic and support independence for Khmer both at home and in Vietnam.

Reply to this commentBecause of Communist Chinese support Pol Pot , it foremen murders killed, many intellectuals in Cambodia, including my parents, brother, and 3-year old son. If I cry for my son I will be killed too.
Recently I flew and lay over Sienghai, Gangouv, and Hong Kong airports the Chinese T.S.A. use unprofessional language and military attitude to me to check my carry on luggage. I carried the same stuff across many airports for the last 10 years of travel across Japan, Taipek, Seoul, Singapore, Cambodia.
Only Communist Chinese rude characters make me very disgusting in the world.

Under the guise of tourism and economic zones the Chinese is slowly taking over Sihanoukville (Kampong Som). It's no secret that the CPP government under Hun Sen is corrupt and looking to pad their coffers and themselves to the detriment of the Khmer citizens. Being a native born Cambodian I am saddened to see the current state of my country that I love. The Chinese supported the Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot and they are doing the same thing now with the current dictatorship to cement their power around the world. It's imperative that the US and other nations begin enforcing sanctions and hit the CPP government where it hurts; their pocketbooks. It won't be too long when Sihanoukville will become a base, I mean tourism center, for the Chinese military.
