Here we go again! Unlike all these dreaming 'intellectuals' that hoping for 'pies in the sky', I just cut through the chase.
When will the West learn that communists can't be trusted or can one negotiate with them.
China has established itself as a new bully on the block and it isn't about to give in. They didn't negotiate back then and they aren't about soon for their newly $$$ and might. Even if they do, it doesn't help anyone anyway -insignificant.
Save your breath and saliva!
The ultimate 'weapon' is to boycott them from everything - just 'black hole' them.
I do mean everything; i.e. sport events, trades, banking, technologies, and etc...
Otherwise, we'll be here licking our wounds and still talking about China as China squeezes the life out of each country and earth natural resources.

The Southeast Asian Sea, commonly called the "South Sea" in China and the "East Sea" in Vietnam, has been scarred by the CCP's construction of artificial islands over coral reefs they destroyed with a combination of dredging and covering over with shiploads of sand.
