For all the economic data the Chinese Govt collects & publishes, the one thing they don't publish are GDP figures comparing Han Chinese to ethnic minorities like Tibetans & Uighurs. The CCP is afraid to show that Tibetans & Uighurs have significantly lower per capital incomes than Han Chinese. The CCP claims they are lifting up & improving the lives of ethnic minorities but if China published their average incomes, people would learn that Chinese rule has not benefitted Tibetans & Uighurs.

Or it may deflate China's GDP too. For example, China only collect data on service from middle to large companies. It ignores small start ups below certain number of employees.
