as you all know that lao government don't EU to investigate sombath's case so they will take care of their own internal so my suggestion to that is, laos government should let the EU to do every thing about sombath's case and as I can see now they are not smart enough to deal with the world.

Reply to this commentFirst, ASEAN's members all have serious human rights records, and each of them will not slap its own face. Thus, the Sombat's case will not catch the attention of any government official of each member. Second, Laos can behave the way it has done since 1975 for the world continues to give it green lights to do so. Third, the people of Laos can no longer zip their lips the way they have done for four decades. They are the only power channel to bring changes to the country. Fourth, sanctions against Laos must be considered if it does not come clean on the Sombat and all previous cases.

Reply to this commentFirst, EU & US need to come up with a strong resolution against the Lao’s government for Mr. Sombath disappearance. Sanction need to be imposed against the Lao communist government. Second, the 10 ASEAN nations need to be reform, in term of human right, political, social and economy, because of its weakness and fragile nations in Southeast Asian.

Reply to this commentMr. Sombath is a Lao citizen. He is not a citizen of the U.S. or the EU. There are thousands of missing persons in the U.S. and in the EU that their governments are unable to solve or located. I say the U.S. and the EU should start protect their people first before they go stick their noses on other countries' affairs.

There are more human rights abuses in the U.S. and in the EU. Inequality is more common in the U.S. and in the EU than in Laos.
