Johan Fernando from Colombo :

As Theravada buddist from Sri Lanka. My forfathers who exported buddism to East asia ..I firmly condemn the actions by these monks. We need to understand the history of these lands. The immigration of chinese people to Burma, laos , Kambodia is just 1200 years ago...At that time allready indo people lived there...and was hindus....that is why you can find alot of hindu temples in thailand, burma, kambodia, ancient ashoka kingdom.

I do not understand all of you.
If there was one or some criminals in your community, do you call your community as criminal community? Of course you do not. Then if someone in other community (or country) did some undesirable act to someone else belongs to different community, should we blame the whole community for that person's act?

We Burmese have strong sense and respect to different ethnics, nationals and most of all religions. Please stop accusing our Burmese people into unjustic comments and media news about untrue killing, raping Muslims in Rakhine State. Be aware we have more than 5 millions Muslims in our land living together with Local Buddhist Burmese, live in peace and fair, unlike other so called Islamic Countries, who treated unfair to other Religions, the countries, like Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Sudan... and etc.... Please come and visit our land to see the reality. Do not judge if you do not know the truth.

If they sympathize those people, why don't they let them stay in their country? They are just giving lip services. Moreover, they should learn back ground history and who did what.

Dugdak from London :

We have to understand the tribal nature of many of these places, it goes back much further than any government. People have been fighting for a long time and is not just about religion. To much generalizing problems doesn't get to the bottom of the issues or its root cause. We need to localize the issues to find it root cause and try to tackle it effectively. Therefore the question should be will the two community fight with each other if there are of same religion, answer is probably yes, because real issue is not religion, but about tribal territory and sense of belonging.
