China's policies in Tibet are not only oppressive but also racist. Only Tibetan monks are required to pass "patriotic education tests" or fly the Chinese flag & swear allegiance to the Party, not Han Chinese monks. Only Tibetans are banned from revering their spiritual leader, HH the Dalai Lama, not Han Chinese Buddhists. Only Tibetans are searched & stopped at checkpoints in Tibet, not Han Chinese residents. Only Tibetans & Uighurs visiting Beijing are reported to authorities, not Han Chinese visitors. Only exile Tibetans are subject to extra screening when appying for visas to China, not Han Chinese who want a visa to China. Only Han Chinese are posted to Party leadership in Tibetan areas, never ethnic Tibetans. We see the CCP doesn't trust Tibetans & treats us like 2nd class citizens.
