Socialism with Chinese characteristics is an intentionally vague and murky slogan. It has been bandied about merely to fool the populace and help preserve the Communist Party's monopolistic control over the government, the police, the army, the legal system, and the media and internet. It should be discarded as the worthless scrap of propaganda that it is.
