RFA is seeking a professional translator to provide translations as an independent contractor on an as-needed basis for a variety of purposes: award submissions, service evaluations, projects for English News, forms and policies for the language services, etc. Flexible working hours are offered.
Scope of work: Accurately translate a wide variety of complex material from target languages into English. Review audio/video material and write/transcribe translated information with accuracy.
Work requirements: Working proficiency in English and spoken and written fluency in one of the following languages: Khmer, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Burmese, Uyghur, Vietnamese, Tibetan (Ü-Tsang, Kham, and Amdo dialects).
