U.S. Cluster Bombs in Laos—A Lethal Legacy

Nearly 80 million cluster bombs dropped on Laos by the U.S. military during the Vietnam war failed to explode on contact and continue to kill and maim today.

Half of those killed by cluster bombs in the last decade have been children and deminers are now visiting schools on a regular basis to explain the dangers of unexploded ordinance.
