Mass fainting at Cambodian factory

Nearly 300 Cambodian workers of M&V International Manufacturing Ltd, a garment factory north of the capital Phnom Penh, fainted in two separate incidents this week.

Some workers of the factory, which produces goods for Swedish fashion brand Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), told RFA that the mass fainting could have been due to a pungent smell from their shirts or to overwork. Photo: RFA/Bunsong Pon
